About The Centre

Thrive ELC – St Marys is located in Western Sydney and is our newly acquired 58 place centre.

First opened in 2018, the centre has three rooms for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years of age and a generous outdoor play space for children to explore.

Thrive St Marys is on a quiet street and offers on-site parking for staff.

About The Role

Our team is growing and we have opportunities for an early childhood teacher to join us.

We are looking for professionals with experience in programming and the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families and educators.

You will be joining a supportive team where your ideas, input and voice is not only heard but welcomed and encouraged

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Have sound knowledge of and demonstrate high-quality practice in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Work in positive collaboration with all members of the team.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents/carers.
  • Actively contribute to the educational program through conversations, observations, and documentation.

Successful candidates will have:

  • An Early Childhood Teaching degree
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation
  • A current NSW Employee Working With Children's Check
  • Sound and practical working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) & National Quality Standard (NQS)
