The Cottage Pre School & Early Learning Centre is a growing service catering to children from 6 weeks old to 6 years old. We are proudly independent owned and family run with over 40 years of experience in the childcare industry. Our commitment to the team, families and community is something we are passionate about. We are open Monday - Friday 6:30am - 6:00pm.

Join our dedicated and passionate team at The Cottage and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our young leaners. We are currently taking applications for a full-time Trainee Educator.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily routines and activities within the Centre
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training

Requirements:

  • Valid Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one
  • Genuine interest in pursuing a career in early child care and education
  • A positive attitude and a love for working with children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Commitment to completing course material
  • Own transport
  • Permanent Residency/Citizenship
