What you'll do:

As a Product Co-Ordinator, you'll play a key role in driving category growth by analysing performance, managing product ranges, collaborating with teams across Retail, Marketing, Operations and Ecommerce and delivering support to the Head of Retail Merchandise.

From performance reporting to go-to-market execution, you'll use data insights to make informed decisions which contribute to the ongoing success of your categories. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys problem-solving, has a general understanding of managing products in a retail environment and is driven by results.

This is a full-time position offering excellent opportunities for career growth within a fast-paced organisation. Reporting directly to the Head of Retail Merchandise, you'll be an important part of the retail merchandise team. Desirable:

  • Experience in Category Management, Product Coordination, or similar roles
  • Hands-on experience in product range management, purchasing, and inventory optimisation
  • Practical understanding of marketing and promotional strategies for retail
  • Industry experience in stationery or education supplies highly regarded

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Budget Tracking

  • Review and track category performance to ensure alignment with the business's KPI's

Category Review & Analysis

  • Conduct category performance analysis to evaluate results and identify opportunities in conjunction with the Head of Retail Merchandise.

Inventory & Range Management

  • Effectively manage inventory and replenishment by making data-driven buying suggestions, optimising stock-turn, addressing aged inventory and ensuring peak trading readiness to maximise sales.

Supplier Relationships

  • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with our external partners to achieve mutual growth and success.

Competitor Review & Research

  • Identify opportunities in the competitive landscape to strengthen your category's market position and drive growth.

Promotional Planning

  • Collaborate with the Head of Retail Merchandise to engineer, plan and execute competitive offers for peak trading periods.

Retail Support

  • Work at both strategic and operational levels to support Area Operations Managers and Store Managers in meeting performance goals and growing category success.

Requirements:

  • A valid Working with Children Clearance (Blue Card) or the ability to obtain one
