NW Technology is seeking a
Senior Server Engineer
on behalf of our client to join their Infrastructure Services team within the CIO Division. This role is critical to supporting digital infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance across a complex enterprise Windows environment.

You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies, supporting both BAU operations and key ICT projects, while ensuring compliance with government cyber security frameworks.

  • Long Term Contract (12months * 2)
  • Location: Canberra, ACT
  • Baseline Security Clearance required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for
    Windows Server environments
    (Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, PKI, ADFS, DFS, File & Print, Group Policy with AGPM).
  • Manage and maintain
    systems monitoring and patching
    using Microsoft System Centre (SCOM, SCCM/MECM) and Intune.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, including
    escalation and major incident response
    .
  • Implement and support
    cyber security controls
    (application whitelisting, firewalls, vulnerability scanning, device control).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver
    ICT projects
    and BAU support.
  • Develop and maintain
    technical documentation
    (SOPs, design documents, operational guides).

Key Skills Required:

  • Extensive experience with
    Windows Server technologies
    and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in
    Microsoft System Centre tools
    and Intune.
  • Strong knowledge of
    cyber security practices and tools
    in secure environments.
  • Experience managing
    Azure IaaS
    environments (template deployment, resource admin).
  • Knowledge of
    Australian Government cyber security frameworks
    (ISM, Essential 8, ACSC).
  • Strong
    technical documentation
    skills.
  • Experience with
    Privileged Access Management (PAM)
    tools (CyberArk) and enterprise identity systems.
