Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Room Leader located in Baldivis, WA. The Room Leader will be responsible for overseeing daily activities in the classroom, planning and implementing educational programs, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring educators, communicating with families, documenting children's progress, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Room Leader will also collaborate with the team to support each child's educational journey and transitions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Skills in planning and implementing educational programs
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Effective communication skills with families and team members
  • Ability to maintain a safe and nurturing environment
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
  • Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • First Aid Certification
  • Working with Children Check
  • Passion for early childhood development and education
