The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced female support worker to join the care team for a female NDIS participant based in Eastlakes, NSW. This client presents with complex psychosocial needs, a physical disability, and a trauma background, requiring high-level consistency, professionalism, and emotional intelligence. Shifts are long and consistent – ideal for a worker seeking stability and regular hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with personal care (including highly specific hygiene routines)
  • Domestic support (meticulous cleaning standards due to OCD tendencies)
  • Supporting physical mobility and manual handling (due to tremors and instability)
  • Community access and transport (minimal, but may be required)
  • Attending clinical and allied health appointments (often virtual, some in-person)
  • Shopping and meal oversight
  • Maintaining clear professional boundaries and following support protocols

Shifts Available

  • Up to 10 hours/day – 7 days/week available for suitable candidates.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with psychosocial disability, Schizophrenia, trauma-informed care, or complex mental health support
  • Strong understanding of manual handling and mobility risk minimisation
  • Calm, professional, emotionally resilient support style
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Valid driver's licence and own insured vehicle
  • Ability to commit to regular, ongoing shifts and a structured routine

Essential Requirements

  • Female (due to client preference)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid & CPR certification
  • Australian working rights
