mecwacare is seeking a stand-out Service Coordinator, Home Care Package (HCP), to join the client services team in our Home Care Services department and support the delivery of high-quality client services by assisting program staff, coordinating client services, and helping optimise program operations. The role includes handling client incidents and feedback and contributing to improvements in client experience and business processes.

Essential:

  • Demonstrated ability to support program staff and contribute to the effective delivery of client care services.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and organised, with the ability to multitask across phones, emails, and rostering. High level of initiative, attention to detail, and accountability in day-to-day tasks.
  • High level problem solving and investigation skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and follow through to completion.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve team and organisational objectives.
  • Experience using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and client database applications.
  • Experience in the Community Services or Aged Care sector.
