About Us:

At B&F Cabinets, we're a boutique custom joinery business based in St Kilda, servicing Melbourne and surrounding areas. We design, manufacture and install high-quality cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, offices and entertainment units. Our workshop is known for craftsmanship, attention to detail and excellent service.

We pride ourselves on working with premium materials, contemporary finishes and delivering a great experience for our clients from concept to install.

The Role:

We're looking for a skilled Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our team. You'll be working alongside a small, dedicated crew, in our workshop and occasionally on-site. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Fabrication of custom cabinetry components (kitchens, vanities, built-ins, entertainment units)
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications
  • Machining, veneering, edging, assembly, finishing and fitting
  • Ensuring accurate measurement and quality checks throughout the process
  • Site visits and installations as required (Melbourne metro)
  • Collaborating with the design/production team to ensure projects run smoothly and to schedule

What We're Looking For:

  • Trade qualification in Cabinet Making / Joinery (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • Proven experience in a custom joinery/cabinetry environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving and quality mindset
  • Comfortable reading plans & working to deadlines
  • Valid driver's licence and ability to attend installations around Melbourne
  • (Bonus) Experience with CNC machinery, shop-fit or commercial joinery
