To support this growth, we're seeking an exceptional Senior Procurement Officer to strengthen our procurement function and deliver measurable commercial value across our supply chain.

The Opportunity

In this pivotal role, you'll take ownership of sourcing and supply across local and global markets, ensuring materials arrive on time, at the right cost and quality. You'll strengthen supplier partnerships and negotiate value through effective management of overseas procurement and logistics partners, including freight forwarders and domestic carriers. Reporting to the  Financial Controller, and collaborating with Production, and Estimating teams, you'll drive cost efficiency, consistency, and commercial performance across the supply chain.

What You'll Do

  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and rebates to achieve cost and quality optimisation.
  • Maintain supplier DIFOT performance and reliability.
  • Drive measurable cost savings and process efficiencies.
  • Maintain lean inventory and minimise write-offs.
  • Provide accurate monthly procurement and cost reporting.
  • Identify smarter, more efficient procurement methods to enhance margin and productivity.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments.
  • Experience managing overseas suppliers and international supply chains Strong negotiation and commercial analysis skills.
  • Experience managing international shipping and domestic freight operations, ensuring on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance across all logistics partners.
  • High proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite advantageous) and Excel.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, always looking for a better way.
  • Attention to detail and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to balance short-term priorities with long-term cost and performance goals.
