Purpose of the role
We're looking for a CTP Regulatory & Policy Specialist to manage the regulatory and policy aspects of Youi's CTP product and support its profitable growth. This role involves ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines, engaging with regulators and industry partners, and representing Youi in forums and working groups. You'll work closely with internal teams to align processes with scheme requirements, monitor product performance, contribute to pricing and product development, and support regulatory reporting and submissions.

- Business Development – Contribute to strategic planning and actionable goals that strengthen Youi's market position.
- Risk & Safety – Proactively manage risk, ensure compliance, and promote a strong safety culture.
- Continuous Improvement – Seek opportunities to enhance efficiency, compliance, and overall performance.
Experience & Knowledge:
- Qualifications – Tertiary qualification in business, management, actuarial, legal, or a related field (highly desirable); general insurance qualifications desirable.
- Industry Experience – Minimum 5+ years in financial services, including at least 5 years in CTP (essential).
- Product Expertise – Strong technical understanding of CTP products and regulatory environments; multi-jurisdiction experience desirable.
- Portfolio Management – Minimum 2 years' experience in product or portfolio management roles.
- Regulatory Knowledge – In-depth understanding of legislative, compliance, and market frameworks.
- Analytical Skills – Strong data analysis, critical thinking, and quantitative literacy.
- Leadership & Collaboration – Skilled in coaching, influencing, and working effectively across teams.
- Customer Focus – Committed to delivering great customer outcomes with integrity and accountability.
- Adaptability – Comfortable with change and proactive in identifying risks and opportunities.
- Communication – Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.

Youi offers a hybrid model: in-office Tuesday to Thursday, remote Mondays and Fridays.
