Campus Receptionist (4 days per week)

Previous experience in an RTO is not essential but will be highly regarded.

West Australian Institute of Further Studies ('WAIFS') is a Registered Training Organisation in the heart of Perth City Centre providing quality education to both local and international students.

Campus Receptionist (Full time)

WAIFS is a growing training organisation in the heart of the city.

We are looking for a super-friendly receptionist with a calm and competent manner to support our students and stakeholders.

As the first point of contact for many of our students, agents etc. professionalism and support is key.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Answering calls and basic queries - providing referrals to other employees where required
  • Assisting students as needed
  • Taking payments and recording receipt
  • Preparing letters for students
  • Verifying medical certificates for absent students
  • Printing ID cards, certificates and statements of attainment
  • Keeping campus tidy, secure and ensuring a professional standard of presentation at all times
  • Helping to organise and prepare for student events
  • Other reasonable duties

The successful candidate will:

  • Be calm by nature
  • Be able to manage a multitude of tasks at once
  • Be able to demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Have strong attention to detail

You will work with the the support of a team who are experienced and excited for the future of WAIFS.

The role is part time (Sunday to Wednesday) 8.15 am to 5pm
