How you will make an impact

As an Orderly in our Medical Imaging department at Cabrini Malvern Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work within a supportive team where we work closely together to achieve the best patient outcomes and provide a high standard of care. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with initiative and energy to work and develop in a fast paced environment.

The role will be for casual shifts from Monday to Friday. Weekend and Public Holiday shifts may also be available.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Transporting patients, equipment and courier items around the hospital

  • Providing support and assistance, under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other clinical staff

  • Providing a high level of customer service to patients, visitors and staff

  • Contributing to the team, cooperating and communicating effectively

  • Performing cleaning duties and maintaining cleanliness of equipment

About you

We are seeking previous experience as an orderly (desirable), or experience within a similar work environment, however, additional training and support will be provided to the successful candidate. You will also have the following:

  • Previous Orderly experience desirable

  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team

  • Ability to take direction

  • Sound communication skills, proficient in written and spoken English

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding role
