About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team at Betta Industries Pty Ltd. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and reporting for our growing organisation. This is a full-time position based in our Taren Point, NSW office.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly financial statements and reports
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts
  • Perform account reconciliations and analysis
  • Provide financial advice and support to management
  • Contact debtors for payment
  • What we're looking for
  • Appropriate qualifications in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as MYOB
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
