About the Role

As the Purchasing Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting our procurement processes and maintaining optimal stock levels. You will ensure timely sourcing of products, contribute to supplier management, and help streamline purchasing and inventory coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Assist in developing purchasing strategies for medical equipment and supplies

  • Source and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers

  • Support cost-effective purchasing while ensuring compliance and quality standards

  • Monitor supplier performance and assist in maintaining strong relationships

Inventory Control & Stock Coordination

  • Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure adequate stock levels

  • Help implement systems to track inventory turnover and stock accuracy

  • Support warehouse and logistics coordination to ensure timely stock movement

  • Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies and identifying improvement opportunities

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement processes

  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and assist in reporting on trends

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align purchasing with operational needs

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations

About You

We are looking for a proactive and dependable individual with a strong interest in procurement and inventory operations.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in purchasing or supply chain support roles

  • Strong communication and supplier coordination skills

  • Healthcare, medical equipment, or manufacturing industry experience (preferred)

  • Solid understanding of inventory planning and procurement processes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/inventory systems

  • Familiarity with international shipping practices
