As the Head of Risk Culture, Accountability and Capability, you'll play a pivotal role in embedding a strong risk culture, driving accountability through the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR), and uplifting risk capability across the organisation.
About the Role
This is a specialist leadership role within the Enterprise Risk Management Hub, focused on shaping Medibank's risk culture, accountability frameworks, and enterprise-wide risk capability. You'll work closely with senior leaders to implement the FAR framework, lead risk culture assessments and initiatives, and design training programs that build a strong, risk-aware workforce.
What You'll Be Doing
As Squad Lead - Risk Culture, Accountability and Capability, you'll lead the implementation of Medibank's FAR Accountability Framework, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting accountable persons. You'll drive the development and rollout of the Risk Culture Framework and Compliance Training Framework, embedding strong risk behaviours and uplifting capability across the business. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll provide strategic guidance on risk culture and accountability, while leading a high-performing team and championing cultural change across the organisation.
About You
You're a strategic and people-focused leader with deep expertise in risk culture, compliance, and regulatory accountability. You bring:
- Strong knowledge of APRA/ASIC regulatory frameworks, particularly FAR and CPS 220.
- Experience leading cultural change and embedding risk behaviours across large organisations.
- Proven ability to design and deliver training and capability programs.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A passion for building high-performing teams and driving meaningful change.
