Step into a critical leadership position as Head of Financial Accounting and help shape the financial future of our business during a transformative period. This is an exciting opportunity to lead change, strengthen governance, and ensure financial integrity.
You will oversee financial accounting, regulatory compliance, and audit processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency in all financial reporting. Your expertise will guide strategic decisions and support a smooth transition to new ownership.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the preparation and submission of accurate, compliant financial statements.
- Ensure adherence to statutory, regulatory, and corporate reporting requirements.
- Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including divestment-related activities.
- Oversee internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
- Develop and maintain a robust internal control framework to mitigate financial risks.
About You
You are an accomplished finance leader who thrives in complexity and change. With deep technical expertise and a strategic mindset, you know how to balance compliance with innovation. You're confident in influencing senior stakeholders and leading high-performing teams through transformation.
Your ability to deliver results under pressure and inspire excellence sets you apart. You're ready to take ownership of financial accounting during a pivotal time and make a lasting impact.
In addition, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA/CPA/ACCA highly desirable.
- 10–15 years' experience in financial accounting, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Expertise in financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in divestment, restructuring, or transformation environments.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills in complex, multinational settings.
