empire group is seeking a driven and strategic State Manager to lead and grow our Sydney Legal Recruitment division. This is your opportunity to take ownership of the NSW market, shape the direction of a high-performing team, and play a key role in our national growth story.

About the Role

As State Manager, you'll be responsible for building and managing all personnel in our Sydney office. You'll work closely with the CEO and National Legal Manager to develop and execute strategic growth plans, drive business development, and deliver revenue and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow, lead and mentor a team of recruitment consultants to achieve individual and team KPIs.
  • Develop and manage ongoing client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Provide market insights and strategic advice to clients and candidates.
  • Source top-tier legal talent through networking, advertising, and referrals.
  • Grow your own desk in either legal professional or support.
  • Maintain strong market presence through research, marketing, and client events.
