St Pius X OSHC is a high quality, innovative and exciting service in Windsor Gardens.

We are seeking to employ qualified OSHC educators who are highly motivated and passionate about making a difference in children's lives. We are after educators with initiative, who can work collaboratively as part of a team, autonomously when required and be a leader.  Experience working with children is preferable and an ability to lead small groups of children in activities is a must.  The ability to contribute towards our curriculum through documenting, evaluating and critically reflecting on children's learning against our framework "My Time Our Place" is also required.  A flair for art, craft, science and the ability to cook would be a bonus.

Multiple before and after school shifts as well as Vacation Care shifts are available.

Service hours:

Before School Care: 7am – 8:30am

After School Care: 3pm-6:15pm

Vacation Care: 7:30am-6pm

Remuneration under South Australia Catholic Schools Enterprise Agreement

Applicants must possess or be willing to obtain and maintain:

A current Catholic Police Clearance or Working With Children's Check

A current Responding to Abuse and Neglect training certificate

Qualified Educators:

Approved ACECQA OSHC Qualification Tier 1 or 2

Requirements:

Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place or willingness to learn

Skills and knowledge in children's services, activity programming, behavior guidance and leadership

Skills in problem-solving, setting priorities, delegating, giving guidance and direction, coping with pressure and mutli-tasking

Strong communication skills and initiative

Leadership qualities
