**About the Centre/Service**

At Aspendale Gardens Community Service (AGCS) we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten groups. Our sessional kinder program focuses on fostering the holistic development of each child through play-based learning and engaging activities. Our 4 year old groups participate in nature play through our “Walk on Country” program. We offer 2 days of kindergarten for each group, 8:30am - 4pm, and an option for additional kinder hours on a Friday 8:30am - 1:30pm. AGCS takes child safety seriously. We have a strong reporting culture and zero tolerance for child abuse. All employees are required to hold a valid WWCC, police check and undertake regular child protection training.

8:00am - 4:30pm

**Description**
- **Monday to Thursday**: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- **Friday**: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- **School Holidays**: Off

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support our team to deliver engaging educational programs for 3 and 4-year-old children.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the kindergarten.
- Maintain a safe and clean kinder environment.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

**Qualifications**

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Diploma or Certificate III in Children's Services.
- Working with Children Check.
- Police Check.
- First Aid and CPR Training.
- Allergy, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Training.
- Child Protection Training.
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

**Additional Requirements**

Child protection training and understanding of child safe standards is essential.
