About Scope

Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services in over 420 service locations across Victoria and NSW.
About Your Role
Scope has two exciting and unique opportunities for an Accessible Information Writer to work within our Scope Access Services.
In this role, you will produce quality accessible written information for people with low English literacy across Australia,
Your Key Focus
- Develop written content for various mediums including websites, brochures, training materials and grant applications
- Provide information, advice and consultancy to cross-service and other Communication and Inclusion Resource Centre (CIRC) Teams
- Translate complex written information into Easy English and plain language, in-line with Scope's best practice standards
- Delivery face-to-face online training sessions
- Updating and implementing processes to provide customers with responsive and professional service
What We Look For
- Proven experience in the production of quality communications that meet the needs of identified audiences
- High understanding of language and literacy
- Tertiary qualification in writing, editing or other relevant communications field
- Exceptional communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement
- Experience working within the disability and/ community sector
