About the role

Datum Drilling is seeking Air core/RC Offsiders to join our team in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

As an Air core/RC Offsider, you will play a vital role in supporting our drilling operations and contributing to the success of our mining and exploration projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the Driller in the operation and maintenance of air core and reverse circulation (RC) drilling equipment
  • Preparing the drill site, setting up and securing equipment
  • Collecting drill samples
  • Maintaining tools, equipment and the general work area in a clean and organised manner
  • Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Providing general support to the drilling team as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as an Air core/RC Offsider or in a similar drilling support role
  • Strong safety and risk management awareness
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role
  • Willingness to work in a remote location and adhere to roster schedules
  • Valid HR driver's licence
  • Good sense of humour
