ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Project Coordinator, your key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain contract, compliance and asset registers and maintain current project plans and risk registers.
  • Assist with the preparation of Request for Tender (RFT) Request for Quotation (RFQ) documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date campus maps, evacuation plans and other campus information.
  • Maintain current records of staff accommodation and update drawing files and filing systems, including the addition of project-as-built information.
  • Provide a safe working environment for contractors, staff and students by participating in contractor onboarding, assessment of work method statements, and by the issue of work permits.
  • Commit to pursuing cost-effective outcomes and efficiency across all projects and understand and operate according to the defined department budget.
  • Coordinate stakeholder meetings.

ABOUT YOU

You are a highly motivated individual with highly-developed skills in contract administration skills, as well as interpersonal and customer relation skills, documentation control and management with current experience in providing project support in a complex and demanding working environment.

You have the ability to work collaboratively and adopt a teamwork approach, you have a planned and analytical approach to workflow management and you have excellent time management, communication skills and you have the capacity to work within a team environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications required for the role

  • Qualification in Project Management, Contract Administration or similar construction-related discipline, or demonstrated practical experience in this area.
