About the role
DunRite Termites Pest Control is seeking an experienced Termite Technician & Pest Controller to join our team in Logan Village, QLD. This full-time role is critical in supporting our mission to provide comprehensive pest control solutions to residential and commercial clients. As a Termite Technician & Pest Controller, you will be responsible for conducting thorough property inspections, identifying and treating pest infestations, and delivering exceptional customer service.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting comprehensive property inspections to identify and diagnose pest activity and infestations
- Developing and implementing effective pest control strategies and treatments tailored to the specific needs of each client
- Administering a range of pest control treatments, including the safe and responsible application of pesticides
- Providing detailed reports and recommendations to clients on the status of their property and ongoing pest management requirements
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all inspections, treatments, and client interactions
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines
- Providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients
- Continuously expanding your knowledge and skills in the latest pest control techniques and technologies
What we're looking for
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Termite Technician and Pest Controller: current Queensland Pest Management Technician licence and certification in pest control required, preferably in the residential or commercial sector
- Proven experience with termite barriers, chemical treatments, and thermal imaging equipment for inspections
- Thorough understanding of common pests, their behaviours, and effective methods of control and treatment
- Strong technical skills in the application of pesticides and other pest control treatment
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia and be willing to undergo police background check
- Physical capability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift equipment up to 20kg
