Management Accountant

Brief Description
The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Management Accountant to join our Finance team based in our Fremantle office. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity working closely with our farms team to ensure that our operations are supported with accurate financial information and that costs are properly allocated to each of our farms.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Working closely and build strong relationships with the farm managers to understand the true costs of decisions on the business and the impact to farm profitability.
• Ensuring costs are accurately captured and attributed to the correct farm and that costs are accurately allocated to the growing herd.
• Ensuring livestock numbers and movements are correctly reported and forecasted.
• Processing month end journals and accurately reporting financials.
• Other ad hoc work required to maintain the accuracy of our farm costs of production.

About You

• Completed or working towards CA/CPA.
• Strong accounting background and knowledge of accounting processes.
• High level of competency in Microsoft Office, including proven Excel accounting reporting and analysis expertise.
• Active attention to detail and strong time management focus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Collaboration skills to work in teams to develop better systems and processes.
• Own transport and ability to travel between our Fremantle office and farms is desirable.
