What's the Brief?
We're partnering with a leading national organisation in the utilities sector to recruit an HR Reporting Analyst for a 15-month maternity cover.
This role plays a key part in supporting the People & Safety function by delivering regular reporting, analytics, and systems support. You'll help design, maintain and improve reporting tools that enable informed business decisions, working across HR, Finance, IT and senior leadership.
You'll be joining a collaborative team that values accuracy, curiosity and initiative - and you'll be at the centre of a business that's investing in its people, systems, and data capability following a major period of growth and integration.
Is This Your Perfect Match?
You'll be suited to this role if you enjoy making data meaningful — translating complex information into clear insights. You'll need to be technically capable, but equally comfortable engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and tailor your reporting to deliver real value.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong HR data skills who thrives on problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, and improving systems and processes.
Your Impact
- Deliver accurate monthly and ad-hoc People reporting and analytics within agreed SLAs.
- Maintain and enhance reporting tools in Power BI and SuccessFactors to support business decisions.
- Develop self-service reports and dashboards that enable the business to access People data independently.
- Support key compliance and governance reporting such as Board metrics and WGEA data.
- Maintain and validate core HR and position data, ensuring ongoing data integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and recommend best-fit reporting solutions.
- Partner with IT and system vendors to troubleshoot and resolve reporting or data issues.
- Coach and train business leaders on how to use and interpret People and Safety systems and analytics tools.
- Support group-wide HR analytics initiatives that improve workforce planning and performance insights.
- Document processes and maintain reporting knowledge within the team for business continuity.
Your Toolkit
- Advanced Excel skills and strong experience with large data sets.
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools.
- SuccessFactors or similar HRIS experience (Report Centre knowledge highly regarded).
- Understanding of data governance, analytics, and data modelling principles.
- Ability to interpret and explain data clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and planning skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, IT, business or a related field.
- A collaborative mindset and interest in continuous improvement.
