About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and proactive Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our SIL home. You will lead a team of support workers, ensure high standards of care, and foster a positive and inclusive environment for both staff and residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of disability support workers
  • Ensure the delivery of person-centred care aligned with individual support plans
  • Oversee rostering, shift planning, and day-to-day operations
  • Promote a safe and respectful home environment
  • Liaise with families, allied health professionals, and other stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on participant wellbeing and staff performance
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and organisational policies

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent (Diploma or higher qualification desirable)
  • Previous experience in a leadership role within disability or community services
  • Strong understanding of SIL and NDIS frameworks
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
  • Current First Aid & CPR, Working With Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
