Your New Role 

As our new Test Manager, Investment Platforms, you'll manage the Investment Platforms Testing portfolio across the Fund, overseeing a number of vendor partner resources who run testing across multiple concurrent projects. Rather than leading an internal testing team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our vendor partners follow robust QA practices and processes, partnering with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.

You'll take accountability for quality assurance and testing infrastructure, establishing and monitoring quality controls throughout the Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. You'll ensure automated Continuous Testing (CT) is in place, reducing release cycle time and enabling the creation of reliable, resilient, and stable platforms. While our testing is carried out by vendor partners, you'll be willing to keep your hands dirty and stay on the tools as needed.

Strong communication and documentation skills are essential, as you'll build and maintain relationships with internal and external teams, drive standardisation, and promote best practices. Experience in DevOps, Test Automation, CI/CD/CT, and Jira tools is required, and knowledge of testing in an Investments domain with platforms such as LUSID, iLevel, Bloomberg, Calypso, Aladdin, and data integrations is highly desirable.

What You'll Need

• Significant, in-depth, demonstrable experience in technology roles, with strong experience in management and leadership of quality assurance functions.
• Experience across CI/CD/CT tools, digital (secure channels, CMS), and cloud technology (ideally Microsoft Azure).
• Demonstrated proficiency with DevOps concepts and technologies.
• Test automation subject matter expertise.
• Experience with Atlassian suite (Jira / Confluence) and test tooling (TestRail / Zephyr / TOSCA).
• Strong communication, documentation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to architect and implement quality processes in complex, fast-changing environments.
• Critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to stay hands-on and work directly with testing tools as needed.
• Experience managing vendor partner resources across multiple projects.
• Knowledge of testing in an Investments domain with platforms such as LUSID, iLevel, Bloomberg, Calypso, Aladdin, and data integrations (preferred).
• Regulated industry experience, ideally in financial services (desirable).
• Microsoft PowerBI skills (desirable).
• Innovative, creative, and curious with a strong growth mindset.
