About the role

As a casual Building Maintenance and Landscaping Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the pristine appearance and functionality of facilities across Childcare Centres around Perth. This varied role will see you undertake a wide range of building maintenance and landscaping tasks to ensure our offices and surrounding grounds are always presentable and well-kept.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform regular building maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, handyman services
  • Maintain and care for the landscaping around our office buildings, including mowing, edging, weeding, and general gardening
  • Respond to and resolve ad-hoc maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant safety and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken
  • Assist the Facilities team with special projects as required

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a building maintenance or landscaping role
  • Strong practical skills and ability to carry out a variety of maintenance tasks
  • Good time management and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent customer service orientation and ability to respond promptly to requests
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team
  • Relevant trade certificate or qualifications would be highly regarded
