- Salary range: Grade 18 - $105, $113,702.33 per annum plus 12% superannuation and leaseback vehicle for a 35 hour work week;

Council are seeking an IT professional with experience in leading or supporting IT Applications, process improvement and contract management.
Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to communicate technology concepts and to balance competing business priorities.

The Senior Leader Applications Portfolio Is Responsible For
- Leading the management of the portfolio of Corporate, Customer and Community technology applications used by Tamworth Regional Council including governance over application maintenance, reviews of applications appropriateness, and integration of products and services opportunities to both ensure appropriateness of solutions and rationalisation of the applications portfolio.
- Developing and overseeing maintenance of the Application Portfolio Framework and application inventory to define and manage service level agreements and to deliver fit for purpose application services that meet business requirements.
- Contributing technical expertise to technology strategy and solution design, and to requirements analysis, to assist the business to define current and future IT services that meets business needs and that aligns with the IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Degree-level qualifications in business or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years' experience in applications development and management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Vast experience with TechnologyOne or other ERP systems such as Epicor, JDEdwards, SAP, Oracle.
- Strong experience implementing best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes for applications.
- Hands-on technical expertise across modern development frameworks, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
- Strong understanding of information security, data governance, and compliance obligations preferably in Local Government or public sector.
- Proven ability to manage vendors, contractors, and multi-disciplinary development teams.
- NSW Drivers Licence.

Salary range:
Grade 18 - $105, $113,702.33 per annum plus 12% superannuation and leaseback vehicle for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
