About the role

As the Senior Manager – Technology Engineering, you will lead high-performing engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative technology solutions across ART's platforms. You will drive the adoption of best-practice tools, frameworks, and standards, ensuring alignment with ART's strategic goals and operational excellence. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and the Engineering Centre of Excellence to embed engineering excellence and accelerate delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering teams responsible for building and evolving ART's technology platforms.
• Establish and foster relationships with business stakeholders, project sponsors, and key vendor partners.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that meet agreed scope, quality, time, and cost commitments.
• Drive adoption of engineering standards, tools, and practices to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing solutions.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Operations, and other Engineering teams to align priorities and ways of working.
• Foster a high-performance engineering culture through coaching, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee seamless transition of systems from project delivery to operational support, including documentation, training, and automation.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and workforce planning to ensure optimal resource utilisation and delivery against strategic goals.

You are a strategic and collaborative leader with a strong background in software engineering, DevSecOps, and cloud-native technologies. You thrive in complex environments, excel at stakeholder engagement, and are passionate about driving engineering excellence and innovation. Your expertise spans platform engineering, Agile delivery, and the ability to lead teams through transformation and continuous improvement.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven leadership experience managing, coaching, and mentoring engineering teams in a platform-aligned structure.
• Strong background in software engineering, DevSecOps, and cloud-native technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex technology solutions using standardised engineering practices.
• Experience and expertise in Registry, BPM, Workflow, and CRM applications.
• Experience and expertise in Appian, Omni, or Acurity platforms.
• Demonstrated experience with Agile delivery methodologies and modern SDLC practices.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and workforce planning in a technology environment.
