Whitfield State School is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Manager to lead and enhance our school's business operations.

This pivotal leadership role supports the Leadership team and school community by ensuring the effective management of financial, human, and physical resources to deliver quality outcomes for students and
staff.

About the Role

As the Business Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing the school's business operations while working closely with the Principal and Leadership team. This role is integral to ensuring the effective management of financial, human, and physical resources to support the school's strategic goals and deliver quality outcomes for students and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic and operational leadership across finance, human resources, administration, and facilities management.
  • Supporting the Principal in developing, implementing, and monitoring financial and operational plans.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing school support staff to foster a high-performing team culture.
  • Overseeing workforce planning, recruitment, induction, and performance management for school support staff.
  • Managing facilities and asset projects, including maintenance and capital works, to ensure a safe and sustainable learning environment.

This role would suit a proactive and experienced leader with a passion for driving operational excellence in a dynamic school environment.
