About the role

Swimart Balwyn is seeking a full-time Service Technician / Pool Cleaner to join our team in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for a wide range of swimming pools and spas in the local area.

What you'll be doing

  • Performing regular maintenance and cleaning of swimming pools and spas, including brushing, vacuuming, and skimming
  • Conducting water testing and adjusting chemical levels to ensure optimal water quality and chemistry
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues with pool equipment and systems
  • Providing excellent customer service and technical advice to clients
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all pool and spa equipment

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a pool or spa technician, with a strong understanding of pool and spa systems and equipment is preferred but not vital for the right candidate
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical information effectively
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Certification or training in pool and spa maintenance and repair (desirable)
