Melbourne, Victoria, Australia CDC Property Consultancy Full time

Due to rapid growth in our boutique Chartered Surveying Consultancy, we're seeking an additional Senior / Building Consultant to join our Melbourne team undertaking professional instructions for our blue-chip client base.

UK educated BSc Building Surveyor / Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) or similar preferred.

  • Degree/Diploma with 2-5 years relevant practical experience;
  • Whilst not a pre-requisite, MRICS qualification would be an advantage;
  • Working knowledge of RICS Building Surveying professional standards would be an advantage;
  • A demonstrated ability to deal with and assess large complex commercial, retail and industrial assets as well as the problems and issues to identify when undertaking Technical Due Diligence assessments;
  • The ability to write and present a cohesive, coherent and technically sound report for readership by high level executives;
  • Excellent liaison skills with fellow professional consultants to be able to source relevant information for compilation in reports and assessments;
  • A very professional demeanour that will allow interaction with high level property executives in formal and informal settings.

You will excel in this role if you have first class technical skills and an inquisitive, searching attitude to building investigations.
