
Executive Director, Sustainable Assets and Infrastructure

About the role
Great opportunity to strategically lead and effectively manage the performance of built infrastructure across Metro North Health (MNH) to support health care service delivery and legislative requirements.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Oversees the systematic delivery of responsive building, engineering and maintenance services at hospitals and community health facilities across Metro North HHS.
- Leads the development of infrastructure planning documentation, including master planning, and business cases from initial concept to detailed project design.
- Reporting to the Executive Director, SAI, the Client-side Directors for the Capacity Expansion Program and Satellite Hospital Program provide liaison for Department led projects regarding the management and coordination of the capital design and construction and leads the operational commissioning and opening of the projects as required by Health Infrastructure Queensland. The Capacity Expansion Program includes the Redcliffe Hospital Expansion ($1.2B), The Prince Charles Hospital Expansion ($360M) and the new Queensland Cancer Centre ($1.125B) at Herston.
- Leadership, management and coordination of the capital construction and refurbishment projects across MNH under requirements outlined in the Queensland Government Capital Works Management Framework and oversee capital works project delivery for budgeted capital infrastructure projects totalling over $100M.
