About The Role
This role supports the Asset & Maintenance Engineers in managing Council's road, drainage, and bridge assets, including collecting field data and updating records. It involves working with contractors, staff, and other stakeholders, while ensuring safety procedures are followed. The role also helps improve asset management systems and provides training to maintenance teams.

We are seeking:

  • Support the management of Council's road, drainage, and bridge assets, including regular field data collection.
  • Work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to keep asset records up to date.
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety procedures at all times.
  • Provide training and support to road maintenance staff on asset management systems.
  • Contribute to improving asset management processes within existing IT and finance systems.

This position is based in Murwillumbah, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
