Nextstar Training College is seeking a dedicated and innovative Education Advisor. This is a full-time, ongoing position based at our campus in South Australia.Our teams develop high quality, applicable courses and programs, and provide an exceptional level of education and service to our students. As such, we have a strong focus on creating an accountable, supportive and engaging work environment built on joint purpose, teamwork, and enthusiasm for what we do.

Position Description:

·       Collaborating with educators, management, and administrative staff to align educational programs and offer guidance.

·       Conducting research on educational systems to stay informed about trends and advancements in education.

·       Participating in committees to assess current and future needs in education, while planning, developing, and adjusting programs and facilities accordingly.

·       Keeping detailed records of created courses and evaluating the introduction of new curricula.

·       Organizing and leading workshops and conferences to train educators on innovative teaching methods and programs.

·       Utilizing expertise in learning processes and college operations to design and propose training and operational programs for review and funding.

·       Visiting colleges to observe classroom dynamics, assessing student engagement, motivation, and teaching techniques.

·       Meeting with management to review academic performance, student well-being, and teacher effectiveness, ensuring alignment with educational standards.

·       Offering recommendations to government officials on enhancing educational infrastructure, resources, and staffing to maintain high standards of education.

To be considered for this role, you should:

· Hold minimum Bachelor's Degree

· Have at least 3 year work experience in similar field

· Possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members;

· Experience with international students is preferred

· Good interpersonal and communication skills;

· Able to work in a fast paced environment; multitask and handle stress;
