About the role

At TIB, we are seeking an experienced Architectural Fabricator/Metalworker to join our team in Moorabbin, VIC. This full-time role is responsible for the fabrication and installation of a wide range of architectural metal products and structures.

What you'll be doing

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate metal products and structures
  • Metal Finishing and sanding knowledge.
  • Operate a variety of welding and metalworking equipment to cut, bend, and join metal components
  • Install finished metal products and structures on-site as required
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with the design team to resolve fabrication and installation challenges
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an architectural metalworking or fabrication role
  • Strong proficiency in welding (tig/mig/arc), cutting, and metal finishing techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Ability to install and interpret installation plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
