About the Role:
Due to continued growth, Mader Group's Rail Services division are currently seeking a Signalling Technicians to join our Rostered Signalling Maintenance & Projects Crews on a rotating roster - FIFO ex. Alice Springs or Whyalla with accommodation/meals provided or if local - DIDO with LAHA (Living away from home allowance) provided.
This role you will be part of the team carrying out the installation of new signalling equipment across both metro & regional rail networks throughout the central corridor from NT to SA.
Primarily you will be involved in:
- Workshop works including factory pre-wire and testing of control and power frames in preparation for field installation of new signalling and electrical works
- Site works include but not limited to, civil works associated with the installation of a pit and pipe cabling system.
- Installation of control, power, and fibre cable. Installation of location cases, prewired frames, and associated site pre-wire.
- Installation of solar and backup generator power systems and removal of redundant signalling equipment and cable.
- Participate in commissioning of the new power and signalling equipment, systems, and technology.
- Prepare and complete appropriate documentation for maintenance records, logs, field data reports, analysis/evaluation reports and technical drawing amendments.
Working on an rotating roster, commencing from Alice Springs based depot travelling in client field service vehicles.

What do I need to join?
- Certificate IV in Electrical - Rail Signalling
- Electrical Licence
- CPR/LVR
- Construction Card
- High Risk Licence (EWP)
- Drivers Licence
- National Police Check within 3-6 months or willing to get
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong commitment towards safety and quality
