UGL's Fuels and Energy East business is seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused E&I Superintendent to lead the electrical and instrumentation team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and performance of all electrical and instrumentation systems across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of E&I technicians and contractors to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance and project outcomes.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams to support plant performance and capital projects.
• Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programs for electrical distribution, control systems, instrumentation, and automation equipment.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, site standards, and industry best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Manage budgets, procurement, and contractor performance within the E&I scope.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all work is performed in accordance with HSE policies.

About You

• Trade or tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in a superintendent or senior supervisory role within heavy industry – smelting, Oil & Gas mining, or processing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems, PLCs, , and instrumentation.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
