Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager/Engineer to oversee the design, engineering, and implementation of solar mounting systems. This critical role involves ensuring technical excellence, managing project timelines, and collaborating closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical oversight for solar mounting systems, ensuring designs meet project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
  • Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including concept, design, implementation, and post-installation phases.
  • Collaborate with sales and project teams to develop and refine solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to maintain product quality and project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to ensure installation quality and resolve technical issues.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, product innovations, and regulatory changes relevant to solar mounting systems.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to junior engineers and project teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Structural, Civil, or related fields).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in solar mounting systems or related renewable energy infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian standards and regulations relevant to solar installations.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical leadership and project management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
