BDM - Hardware / Automotive Accessories - Western Vic

Mocare Australia is a family business that has been operating for over 45 years and is now one of Australia's largest independent Automotive Accessory & Hardware wholesalers. The business has grown steadily in this time; initially servicing the South Australian market the company has had national representation in all states for the past 25 years.  Mocare has grown its product ranges to nearly 4000 lines across several categories including Tools Hardware and Chemicals however the Automotive Accessories market is still our major focus.

Our customer base is broad given the large product range the company offers but our success has been borne from a strong focus on customer service to all levels of the trade from the largest groups to the smallest trade accounts in Hardware, Automotive and Ag stores.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Working at Mocare Australia you will be joining a friendly team with a support staff of over 35 people. You will use your experience in automotive after-market sales or hardware industry to service an existing customer base across western Victoria and Country areas. A territory that has a strong history of support for our company and its products, you will also seek opportunities for new business to grow the territories customer base.

We are seeking a hard-working sales professional whose Experience, Contacts and Passion for excellent customer service will grow the territory in Metropolitan and Country Victoria. Our range is extensive and growing so there will be virtually no limits to who or where you can seek business for growth. Seeking new business will play an important part towards your success in this role.

The Applicant

The applicant we seek, will have a proven track record in sales with a minimum of 2 years sales experience in the Hardware or Tools markets, or closely related field. The successful applicant will have a hunter mentality and a strong desire to finish on the top of the ladder in sales and in other life pursuits. The ability to maintain a strong business relationship and cold call for new business will be a highly important part of the role. Country travel is a key component of the role as there is requirement to do country trips on a monthly basis.

The salesperson we seek will find it easy to demonstrate the success they have enjoyed in other sales roles where gains in sales growth and happy customers were maintained. We highly value the right attitude and desire ahead of experience alone, so show us your passion and desire.

Selection Criteria

• 2 years B2B sales experience in Hardware Tools or Automotive
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Sound computer skills -Excel and Word
• A passion for sales success
• Willingness to work in country areas
• Excellent work ethic and achievement demonstrated by success in previous or current employment
• A strong desire to win both in your career and life generally
