The role
We're excited to introduce Layal – a vibrant new venue that celebrates the rich culture, cuisine and nightlife of the Middle East. Layal blends the romance and elegance of the evening with authentic Middle Eastern dishes, immersive shisha experiences and captivating live entertainment.
We're seeking enthusiastic, energetic and passionate Food & Beverage Attendants to join our dynamic team at Layal.
In this role, you'll be a gracious and vibrant host, playing a key part in delighting our guests with fun, memorable experiences across our restaurant, bar and shisha lounge. You'll create joyful moments through genuine care and connection – all guided by Crown's 4Cs of Service Excellence: Be Courteous, Connect, Create, and Care.
What you'll do:
- Support the team in the day-to-day operations of venue - delivery of food and drinks, shisha service & opening and closing duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service results with guest experience and satisfaction at the forefront
- Contribute to a lively, high-volume environment with energy and teamwork
- Adhere to RSA legislation and ensure OH&S policies and guidelines are followed
About you
You'll bring the following:
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Valid Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Willingness to work outdoors during shisha activations, including involvement in and around outdoor smoking environments
- Proven experience delivering warm, memorable guest experiences in fast-paced hospitality settings, with Middle Eastern hospitality experience highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment
- Adaptability across multiple service areas including restaurant, bar and shisha lounge
- Availability to work a rotating roster including late nights, weekends, peak periods and over Christmas/New Years
