At Medibank, we're committed to better health for better lives. As a leader in our Group Risk and Compliance division, you'll play a pivotal role in strengthening our enterprise-wide risk and compliance frameworks, while overseeing our insurance management program. This is a high-impact leadership role that supports Medibank's strategic resilience and regulatory compliance.
About the Role
As a key member of the Enterprise Risk Management Hub, you'll lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Medibank's risk and compliance frameworks, policies, and insurance management. You'll work closely with senior leaders across the business to embed a strong risk culture, ensure alignment with APRA standards (including CPS 220), and provide expert guidance on emerging regulatory obligations.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you'll lead the development and implementation of Medibank's risk and compliance frameworks and policies, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations. You'll manage the organisation's insurance program, provide expert advisory support across the business, and drive the integration of compliance into risk disciplines. As a senior leader, you'll also build a high-performing team, champion cultural change, and foster collaboration across the Risk & Compliance function.
About You
You're a strategic thinker and experienced leader in risk and compliance, with a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and insurance management. You bring:
- Proven experience in risk and compliance frameworks, ideally within regulated industries.
- Deep knowledge of APRA standards and risk appetite frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory skills.
- Experience managing insurance programs and working with brokers.
- A passion for driving cultural change and building high-performing teams.
