THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Sheet Metal Machine Operator based in Ormeau. This position involves working as part of our Manufacturing team.
This is a full-time role, working Monday – Friday on day or afternoon shift.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpreting product drawings and supporting manufacturing products to customer requirements
- Operating roll form and general sheet metal equipment
- General housekeeping tasks
- Collaborate with team members, other departments and projects as required
- Participate in training for specific items of plant and equipment
- Strict adherence to critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
- Essential - strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
- Desirable - Forklift licence & experience
- Desirable - manufacturing or sheet metal experience
- Basic awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts & people
- Whilst experience is great, it'll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
