About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ETL Lead with strong expertise in Informatica (IICS/IDMC and PowerCenter) to join a high-impact data migration program within the banking sector.

This Sydney-based contract role (6 months) offers the opportunity to work on large-scale data initiatives involving integration, transformation, and performance tuning.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing ETL mappings and workflows.
  • Performing data migration and integration using Informatica Cloud and PowerCenter.
  • Writing SQL queries for transformation and validation.
  • Developing shell scripts for automation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and accurate data delivery.

The Successful Candidate

You will bring:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica ETL tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, RDBMS, data warehousing, and BI frameworks.
  • Experience with UNIX environments and Control-M scheduling.
  • Proven ability in performance tuning and data quality analysis.
  • Exposure to retail or business banking data models (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
