AML / CTF Screening Analyst - Sydney CBD

Location: Sydney CBD (on-site, 5 days per week)

Start Date: Within 2 weeks

Type: Contract 

Join a fast-paced financial services business at the heart of Sydney's CBD, where you'll play a critical role in protecting the organisation from financial crime. We're looking for a hands-on AML / CTF Screening Analyst to join a growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and investigate name screening and transaction monitoring alerts in line with AML/CTF requirements.
  • Conduct enhanced due diligence on high-risk customers and escalations.
  • Identify and report suspicious matters, maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement of screening and alert-handling processes.
  • Collaborate closely with compliance, risk, and operations teams to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory expectations.

About You

  • Proven end-to-end experience managing AML/CTF alerts and customer screening investigations.
  • Solid understanding of PEP, sanctions, and adverse media screening.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in fast-moving environments.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Available to start within 2 weeks and work on-site 5 days a week in Sydney CBD.
