Operations Assistant – in the Build-to-Rent Management Sector

This role will start with front office and customer service/concierge duties, while supporting the Group Manager and broader Operations Team with business planning and day-to-day activities. This is the "engine room" of our business where you will learn how we think and do.

In time, you'll be trained in all areas of our business from Concierge, Day-to-Day Operations, Trust Accounting, Leasing, Property and Building Management and Business Strategy.

Learn about apartment styles, pricing and planning, and be involved in the planning stages and rental feasibilities for upcoming developments, considering profitability, compliance, safety, and risk management.

Personally, you'll:

  • be able to understand financial goals,
  • remain calm in stressful situations, and
  • think logically to achieve exceptional business outcomes,
  • be comfortable speaking up with new ideas, and presenting fully researched solutions.

You'll also be:

  • technology focused,
  • a whizz at excel,
  • and have an understanding, or ability to dive into, the world of AI and customer service software,
  • a born negotiator, with the ability to think on your feet,
  • able to demonstrate previous experience in property, leasing, facilities management, tenancy coordination or a genuine interest in the industry,
  • possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the property industry.
  • a proactive, solutions-focused thinker, with a collaborative approach to work.

You must have excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A real estate licence or registration will be required to perform the role.

The real estate licence must be obtained within 3 months of commencing the role.
