Position Purpose

The Stylist Operations Manager is responsible for leading the styling team in delivering high-quality property styling projects on time and to the highest standard. This role requires an
exceptional leader with proven experience managing 10+ team members
, ensuring daily operations run smoothly, challenges are proactively managed, and improvements are implemented without the need for constant direction. The Stylist Operations Manager bridges creative vision with operational execution while fostering accountability, teamwork, and professional growth across the team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project & Operations Management

• Oversee end-to-end property styling projects, ensuring installs are delivered on time and to an exceptional quality standard.
• Develop and maintain clear project timelines for multiple simultaneous installs.
• Allocate resources effectively, balancing workloads and coordinating with logistics and warehouse leader and team.
• Report challenges and propose improvements, while managing and resolving issues independently where possible.
• Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and reduce errors.

2. Time Management & Prioritisation

• Manage competing priorities across multiple installations and teams.
• Support the team in distinguishing between urgent deadlines and important short, middle, and long-term objectives.
• Ensure furniture selections and installs are scheduled efficiently to reduce downtime.
• Protect creative focus time for stylists to deliver their best work under pressure.

3. Team Leadership & People Management

• Lead, mentor, and support Property Stylists, Assistant Stylists, and Junior Stylists.
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable while encouraging autonomy.
• Provide regular one-on-ones, coaching, and recognition to build capability and morale.
• Run effective team check-ins, huddles, and debriefs to maintain alignment and continuous improvement.
• Foster a supportive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.
• Client service resolution.

4. Communication & Collaboration

• Act as the main liaison between the Creative Director, warehouse, logistics, service and sales teams.
• Translate creative briefs into clear operational plans.
• Communicate proactively on challenges and solutions with leadership.
• Facilitate smooth collaboration across all departments and maintain professional client interactions when needed.

5. Continuous Improvement & Reporting

• Take ownership of identifying issues, implementing improvements, and reporting back on outcomes.
• Proactively streamline workflows to improve efficiency and reduce delays.
• Track and manage department vs department KPIs (timeliness, quality, accuracy).
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety during installs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrated leadership and managerial experience overseeing 10+ team members.
• Experience managing creative or operational teams
• Proven success in delivering projects on time and to a high-quality standard.
• Knowledge of property styling and interior design processes desirable but not essential.
• Experience working with KPIs
• Current driver's licence.
