Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Performance Test Engineer with strong technical expertise to partner with architects, product owners, and third-party vendors in designing and implementing performance optimization solutions for both cloud-based and on-premise applications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Big Data, Payments, Microsoft Azure, and AWS SaaS/PaaS environments.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Building custom tools using Java for performance testing and optimization.
  • Designing and implementing platform-level performance tuning strategies.
  • Defining and maintaining non-functional requirements (NFRs) for new and existing platforms.
  • Conducting capacity planning, chaos engineering, and SRE activities.
  • Utilizing various performance tuning and monitoring tools.
  • Leading performance testing efforts for Big Data, Payments, and multi-cloud applications.
  • Analyzing test outcomes to identify bottlenecks and propose improvement measures.
  • Collaborating closely with development, DevOps, and data engineering teams to drive performance enhancements.
  • Developing and maintaining automated performance testing frameworks.
  • Performing tuning and optimization of ETL workflows and data pipelines.
  • Leveraging Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Spark, Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake for performance optimization.
  • Working with Cloudera Big Data, Kafka, Microservices, Teradata, and Oracle environments.
  • Managing and scheduling batch processes using Control-M.
  • Delivering detailed performance analysis reports and recommendations.
  • Mentoring team members on performance engineering tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in cloud performance and Big Data optimization.
  • Ensuring all testing processes align with established industry standards and best practices.
