CNC Cutting Table Operator

The role is in regard to operating a cnc cutting table to cut and prepare kits for the assembly of bespoke components using advanced composite materials.

Primary Duties

  • Programme, set and run CNC Cutting Table
  • Ensure the machine is maintained in good working order
  • Inspect every article to ensure quality of product
  • Manual handling of materials for machining
  • Housekeeping of machine areas
  • Advise purchasing of required supplies to meet job requirements
  • Accurate data recording
  • Ensure production "kits" are up to date and ready for ongoing workshop processing

Capabilities

  • Existing experience, or willingness to learn, to operate CNC machinery
  • To be able to diagnose a problem and address accordingly
  • Respect of the existing, and have motivation to learn, the high quality of workmanship of the company
  • Respect and work with existing staff
  • Reliability to attend work every day
  • Work independently
  • Time management and commitment to production schedules

Start as casual, permanent employment after 6 month probation demonstrating capabilities
